Review:
The absolute best buy when adding a Mid Range speaker to your 2-way to make it a 3-way. I was running some EV 12"s for bass, and Sammi horns for mids and highs. Then I spent about $100 (Plus Wood, 1/4" jacks, speaker cable, Power Amp) to upgrade to a 3-way system. I found out that I was missing a whole range of frequencys, when I added the 8"s my system sounded like I upgraded from a clock radio to a real stereo. My Bass was more punchy (Since I cut back on its range using a Electronic Crossover) and my horns were not working as hard (Cut away their midrange). There was more air coming out of these 8" then my 12"s (Well, almost). If your in the market,or even if your not, for upgrading your mids or to a 3-way system, you couldn't get a better speaker for your money. I don't know If you can get better, period.
